Who has two thumbs and just restored her iPhoto library?
Now I can blog once again.
This is the year in which all of our appliances, cars and phones have either stopped working, needed replaced or had crazy things happen. We started to think a technology version of "Animal Farm" was happening to us. I took our computer to the Apple Store and they said they would need to have it a couple of days so I declined since we were traveling to Ohio that week. Luckily, I messed around with the iPhoto database and think it's restored.
After doing a couple of things with our iPhoto (I had to repair it by pressing option + command, while opening iPhoto) I also hope to back it up to an external hard drive.
This weekend was so fun. On Friday night, we went swimming with the girls and Ava's friend and then went to the lake with our neighbors and friends on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
I love our lake. It's so relaxing and fun to float and the kids love to jump off the dock and play with their friends. And with temperatures in the high 90s, there's not a whole lot of other things you can do!: ) The kids will have great memories looking back on our times there.
One of our favorite lake drinks is the Bold Rock VA Apple Cider.
Try it -- it's super refreshing and almost tastes like prosecco. And it's made in Virginia so we love supporting local businesses.
Hope you have a great and fun week. It's supposed to be super hot today (96 degrees!) so we are going to the gym, working on our summer journals (going to share a post this week about this) and playing with play dough.
And only a week left until Brandon and I travel to Bald Head Island for our 11th anniversary. We are counting down the days.
Have a great week!
