Week update

Ava and Ellie went to Kidz Bop on Saturday and loved it. Ava had such a blast going with her friend and came home singing. She was ready at 10 am that morning to go for the night!

Her grandma Shmidt gave her the horse outfit and she loves the sparkles.

Little Ryder is two and loves playing outside with sticks. He doesn't need many toys since he just loves to run and explore.

I was trying to head to Nordstrom to return shoes Sophie had that had a hole in them. But, he didn't want to stop playing.

Enjoying the beautiful fall day.

Pumpkin pizza
Making dinner fun is something we try to do since with a toddler it's not fun going out that much. It's def. more easier and healthier to eat at home. We had fun making pumpkin shaped pizzas last week. I used the Pioneer Woman's pizza dough recipe. The trick is to let the dough rise for at least 2 hours. So, if I am making the pizza, I start the dough around Ryder's nap time. Also, you can make it whole wheat, but you may want to go half and half. I think it tastes better that way.

Basil from our garden for the stem.

Pumpkin pancakes
We are on a pumpkin kick! I added 1 TB cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of cloves along with 1/2 cup of pumpkin to our pancake recipe. Yum!! Loved it! I also added bran fiber to the top.

Sophie is loving Kindergarten. Her teacher is super sweet and she is learning so much. Right now she is writing sentences and learning to count to 100. She just loves it. I took back the shoes here and Nordstrom was awesome and let me have a new pair. Love their customer service.
